As Head of Data you will work with the Solaredge CDO to create state-of-the-art data and analytics-driven solutions, working across Solaredge platforms leveraging both On-prem, Platforms, big data tools, and technologies. You will be part of a data-driven team that will challenge the Enterprise Data through complex questions including AI and ML Interfaces/ data pipelines, typically involving large, complex data sets or over 1Tb daily and 1.5Tb vision data.

What will you be doing:

• Build the Future Data solution to be used by the company, and for the company's next Data product offerings
• Responsible for building data and analytical engineering solutions with standard end-to-end design & ETL patterns, implementing data pipelines, data modeling, and overseeing overall data quality.
• Work with multiple org functions on new analytical solutions that are a part of the company services.
• Experience with high-volume production environments including recovery and resilience infrastructures.
• Manage a global team of and Data engineers, Data scientists, and Data Analysts providing a service to all of Solaregde business domains, including corporate and product analytics.
• Manage a Data Platform on High Scale, high velocity and complex manufacturing to end user analytics
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related degree
• Experienced in managing cross-disciplinary teams of Data Engineers \ Data Analysts \ Data Scientists.
• Minimum of 7+ years in managing cross-disciplinary team.
• Thinks Big on requirements asked, and is able to understand the value of them and challenge when needed
• A minimum of 4+ years of similar experience working on Database(s) ,Data warehouse, ETL and AWS platforms is required
• Experienced in Deployment process on-Premise and on-cloud using Cloud Native CI\CD.
• Familiar with Technology Stacks such as ELK, Sentry, AirFlow
• Experience in managing shorter-term projects, and outcome-focused service engagements.
• Articulates the value proposition of existing technology capabilities and maps them to customer requirements to minimize the incremental cost of development
• Comfortable working with OS such as Linux and shell scripting - Advantage
• Experienced in working in AWS related computing, storage, and processing (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Dynamo DB, Athena, Sagemaker) - Advantage
