Sightful is looking for an experienced Frontend Tech-Lead with a passion for building innovative, cutting-edge user experiences - and designing the frameworks that allow them to scale. In this position you will spearhead the implementation of web-based UI technologies in Sightful's Mixed Reality products, building magical, intuitive and performant user interfaces from the ground up, while championing best practices and technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of Sightful’s web experiences, working closely with our UX, interaction and product teams
• Build our unique integration of mixed reality experiences into the wider web, aligning with standards such as WebXR
• Lead API design & development of a web SDK for building mixed-reality web applications
• Be a driving force in the Sightful UI architecture forum and take part in strategic decisions on how we build interfaces, web or otherwise
  
  

Requirements:

Must have:

• 5+ years hands-on frontend development experience, with at least 1 shipped product
• Of those, 2+ years work on UI frameworks or design systems that serve other developers
• In-depth knowledge of modern web UI architectures and familiarity with multiple frameworks (e.g. React, Redux, Angular, Vue, Svelte, etc.) as well as best practices for working with them
• Excellent knowledge of Javascript and Typescript
• Expertise with CSS, including preprocessors, modules, CSS-in-JS, media queries, etc.
  
  

Advantages:

• Broad exposure to multiple UI frameworks (Compose, Qt, Xamarin, WPF, UIKit, React, AppKit, etc.)
• Understanding and appreciation of user experience, interaction, motion and graphic design
• Experience with graphics / 3D programming using web technologies (three.js, WebGL, WebXR, etc.) or otherwise (Unity3D, Unreal, OpenGL, etc.)
