We are looking for a talented senior engineer to join SolarEdge R&D Cloud Group. You will develop cutting-edge features, use the most recent technology and affect millions of homeowners. The job requires a deep understating of building scalable, enterprise-grade applications, along with high motivation and willingness to provide a high-quality product. A good candidate will be comfortable in a fast-delivery environment, and equally capable of designing complex yet efficient solutions.

what you will be doing:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high availability and performance.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct research, and investigate new technologies.
  
  

Requirements:

• Leading experience - a major advantage
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in Java and Spring Boot applications.
• Backend Engineer with at least 5 years of experience.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with event-driven / distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases.
• Experience with microservice-based architecture.
• Experience in Python, ML, and Algorithm development- Advantage.
• Experience with Kafka Streams or other data streaming platforms- Advantage.
• Experience with ELK, Cassandra, and Vertica
