Requirements:
As a DevSecOps Engineer with a security background, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols for our software development process. You will be working with the development, operations, and security teams to ensure that security is a top priority in our DevOps pipeline. You will need to be proficient in security tools, automation, and best practices to ensure secure code delivery, monitoring, and response.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team to ensure that security is integrated into every phase of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Design, develop, and implement security solutions for DevOps pipelines, including automation of security testing, monitoring, and incident response.
- Collaborate with the security team to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for the organization.
- Assess and mitigate security risks in the DevOps pipeline, including vulnerabilities, threats, and attacks.
- Provide security training and guidance to the development and operations teams.
- Continuously monitor and improve the security posture of the DevOps pipeline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps processes, tools, and automation. - Must
- Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and tools. - Must
- Experience with security testing tools - Must .
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform - Must.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker – An advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+. – An advantage
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible - Must.
- Experience with DevOps automation tools such as Ansible, or Terraform – An advantage
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell – An advantage.
