Autobrains is looking for a Technology Director to work at our Tel Aviv Headquarters.

As a Technology Director, you will work closely with the R&D team and play a crucial role in the technological growth of Autobrains. We are looking for someone at the forefront of innovation that believes in our vision.

The primary responsibility of the Technology Director is to Identify technological needs, or technological gaps and, based on your knowledge, experience and academic background, provide a real-time solution, including establishing a task force for a certain technological effort, understanding development processes and knowing how to disassemble and change them if necessary, and hands-on coding / code review.

You will be part of our CEO team and report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate must possess a can-do attitude, a hands-on approach, be open to new challenges, and constantly strive to drive plans to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Part of the CEO team sets the vision for how technology will be used in the company.
• Help define the product vision and strategy.
• Create a technological roadmap and strategy for the different verticals on a cross-company level.
• Ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
• Create timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
• Make executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements.
• Act as a mentor to team members, including building a technology leadership team that can expertly manage the teams, develop a strong and focused culture, and be responsive to the organization's needs
• Maintain an innovative state of mind.
• Stay on top of technology trends and developments.
  
  

Requirements:

Must Have's:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science\ Electrical Engineering \ or another relevant field from a leading institute
• 7+ years experience in leading R&D teams in fast-paced organizations
• 7+ years experience in the Vision AI field (Deep Learning - advantage)
• Strong project management and people management skills
• Strong ability in taking a business challenge, transforming it into a plan, and leading its execution
• Hands-on approach and passion (This is not a direct people management position)
