The ASTI system is a bone condition sensing system and implant insertion device to reduce intra-operative fractures and femoral stem loosening, resulting in early revision THA surgery.

The patented ASTI system creates a synergy between real-time bone stress feedback and a closed-loop impaction force-control system for precise insertion of femoral stems and broaches.

The ASTI system replaces the use of a manual mallet which can result in uncontrolled and high impaction forces causing fractures.

The ASTI system will deliver precise impaction forces to ensure that broaches and stems are inserted safely to improve clinical outcomes.

This avoids intraoperative fractures due to high manual impaction forces and avoids early loosening of the femoral implant.
