TonoGuard has developed the EasyIOP, an accurate, automatic, non-contact self-measurement tonometer.The companys device applanates the cornea with an air puff, detecting applanation with a patented optical system based on non-imaging optics.

This technology eliminates the need for accurate positioning of the measuring device relative to the cornea apex.

The EasyIOP is intended for self-use, including by elderly and vision-impaired patients.
