Salvation Battery

Carbon Nanotube Battery reducing battery costs and size by 75%

Salvation Battery is developing a leadacid battery (LAB) technology that aims to be a significant improvement over existing LAB technology.

Salvation Battery has improved battery performance by adding specific carbon nanotubes to one of the electrodes, thereby eliminating sulfation, the primary LAB failure mechanism.

As a result, the company expects that a standard 60Ah car battery can be produced at a much lower cost than it is today.
