Saliwell has developed the SaliPen, a device for stimulation of natural saliva production to treat dry mouth disease (xerostomia).

The SaliPen uses electro-stimulation, which isn't felt by the patient, to increase the production of saliva.

Its two flexible arms with stimulating electrodes are placed in the mouth underneath the tongue.The electro-stimulation provided by SaliPen, along with its removable intraoral design, offers a practical and effective approach to address the challenges of dry mouth.
