FastBreak Medical is the developer of a noninvasive wearable sensing patch for the early detection of carotid stenosis, a risk factor for stroke.

Attached on the neck above the carotid artery, the patch monitors blood pressure waveforms in the near-surface arteries and can detect abnormal carotid pulse waves associated with carotid stenosis.

The patch uses wireless Bluetooth communication to transfer data to the users app for analysis.
