Cell Cure Neurosciences is a biotechnology company developing cell therapies based on the use of human embryonic stem cells for the treatment of retinal and neural degenerative diseases.

The company uses these powerful stem cells to manufacture the retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cell.Cell Cure’s first product in development, OpRegen, contains hESC-derived RPE cells to treat age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

OpRegen is being developed as a frontline therapy for the dry form of AMD, which affects approximately 90% of AMD patients.

Cell Cure is currently conducting a phase 1/2 clinical trial of OpRegen to treat the larger market of dry AMD, for which there is currently no FDA-approved therapeutic.
