The foundation provides grants of up to $1 million to support joint projects in various technology sectors, including life sciences, agrotechnology, clean energy, and more.

BIRD's mission is to stimulate economic growth through the creation of innovative products and technologies, while strengthening strategic partnerships between Israeli and American companies.

Since its inception in 1977, BIRD has funded over 1,000 projects with a total investment of more than $350 million.
