In 2011, Barclays established an Israel Development and Engineering Center in collaboration with Ness Technologies to provide technology development and engineering services.

Between 2016 to 2019 Barclays operated an accelerator in Tel Aviv, Rise Tel Aviv, which focused on financial technology.
